About Us Soukh-Couture is the brainchild of Martha Trimming. After spending many years working at Vogue House in and around fashion through her work at Conde Nast Magazines it became apparent that there was a real need for an online ladies fashion boutique that could provide high quality clothing at affordable prices without compromising on style, comfort or exclusivity. Soukh-Couture is our exclusively designed collection of ladies clothing and accessories which we feel meets this need for casual elegance using the highest quality fabrics
Our garments are all bespoke designs and handmade with colour runs kept to a minimum to preserve the individuality of each item. Each piece is assembled using the highest quality materials such as the softest Cashmere, Silks and Velvet. Each item is sewn with extreme attention to detail and finish, using time-consuming hand-executed techniques.
We source and specially select only the finest fabrics to create a fusion of beautiful luxurious textiles, patterns and prints inspired by cultures as diverse and colourful as Turkey, China, India and Nepal.
The clothes are based upon an adaptation of the Nepalese Kurtas but are typically shorter than the traditional garments and reflect a similar style which has recently appeared in the collections of designers such as Versace. The design and shape offers a flexible style which works well as an exclusive piece of evening or resort wear but fits equally well worn casually with jeans.
New collections are available twice a year with additional designs added mid-season.
A made-to-order service is also available for our customers who wish to have a particular piece made up in a colour of their choice.
